The CrossWalk Family of God in Little Rock, Arkansas is in search of a fulltime Student Minister who has a love for young people and the ability to mentor and equip them as they develop spiritually. The Student Minister will work primarily with our junior high and high school students with the additional responsibility of managing the church’s technology needs. CSO (CrossWalk Student Outreach) consists of 20-25 active junior high and high school students. Candidates with a degree in ministry and prior experience are preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.

Our students represent several school districts as we attract families from a four-county area in central Arkansas. This places an increasing importance on the ability to creatively communicate with our church family through various means. The candidate’s skills should include experience in web design, publishing, and video creation.

CrossWalk began with just a few families meeting in the home in 2002 and has grown to 160-175 in attendance each week. We are an open-minded family of believers with the simple purpose statement of, “becoming more like Jesus for the sake of the world.” We place heavy emphasis on the importance of weekly small groups. Our Sunday morning gatherings include a time of bible study, fellowship, and worship as a family. Our worship style is best described as contemporary acappella with the use of a praise team. We are progressive in regards to women’s roles in the church, fellowship with groups from other denominations in the community, and liberal with how we love people without bias or prejudice.

CrossWalk ministers are not micromanaged but are instead given a great deal of freedom in regards to the direction and leading of our church family. This requires a self-initiating man or woman with the ability to lead with integrity.
